For sale is my Black American Stratocaster with EMG pickups. From my research of the serial number the guitar was made in 1997. I purchased the guitar in 1999 from Venue Music Sydney after the original owner had traded it for a PA system. The guitar has a rosewood fretboard with a 9.5" radius.The guitar has the original pickups replaced with EMG's. The front and middle pickups are EMG SA active pickups. The bridge position has an active EMG 81 humbucker installed. There is a 9 volt battery located under the pick guard which powers the three pickups. The guitar has a white pearloid pick guard.The bottom tone pot has been replaced with a push pull switch to allow you to have the bridge pickup always on. This gives the extra two sounds with all three pickups or the front and bridge pickup together.The guitar comes in a tweed case (not the original case - it is a bit too road worn). Pick up preferred. I will drop off within the Brisbane Council area for a $20 fee. If you live further away please contact me to discuss options. I am happy to arrange an opportunity to inspect and play for local buyers.Courier can be arranged by the buyer.
