2000s Fender AVRI '62 Jazzmaster
The one, the only, the Elite Stratocaster. Built in the early 80s these guitars had some appointments similar to a normal Strat as well as some appointments that catered to the rockers from the era. This 83 Elite is overall in great shape and sounds fabulous. Great playability up and down the neck. Cool Strat! Well, unfortunately my friend the fine folks at Fender Musical Instruments decided it would be a good idea to not only axe the ’62 AVRI line of instruments in light of the high priced ’65 Reissues but also decided that anything other than Sunburst, gold, or Black has no place on a Jazzmaster or Jaguar… Unless you buy from the custom shop or happen to land a Thin Skin. But, fear not! Between 1999 and 2008 they offered the AVRI Jazzmasters in a bunch of awesome finishes such as Surf Green, Fiesta Red, Lake Placid Blue, and Sherwood Green to name a few. Here we have an absolutely beautiful 2000s ’62 Reissue AVRI Jazzmaster in Ocean Turquoise. The guitar plays and sounds fantastic and nails classic Jazzmaster tones with a bit of a modern twist. Overall in excellent condition less some light play wear and a few tiny dings. Comes with the original brown hardshell case, trem arm, and some paperwork. Don’t miss out on this one!
