This is info saved from a previous owners website about the guitar. Great guy by the way! "This guitar is a 1991 European limited edition Charvel Strathead. 75 guitars were made in transparent blue and another 75 in transparent red. From what I know they were all distributed in Germany. There was also another limited run of 25 for France which had a two-tone sunburst finish. Oddly these guitars were made in Jackson USA Custom Shop and they have Jackson neckplates and serials but Charvel logos." "The guitar is basically a replica of the early San Dimas Charvels with some updates like the recessed Floyd Rose. The neck feels awesome and the one piece ash body delivers a huge and warm sound. Every note sounds really fat. I bought this guitar on my birthday and what was a funny coincident is that the serial is 7677 and I was born between 76-77. Spooky. :) Thanks to Brett for this amazing axe!" Guitar is in very good condition with a few light marks on the body and one touched up nick. Just normal light play wear. Truly a workhorse guitar if you want one guitar to cover all kinds of music. Very desirable custom shop built in the real Charvel Jackson custom shop long before fenders take over. Charvel Jackson got away with building these Strat heads because they were ordered for the European market. You just do not see these pop up for sale for many good reasons. A solid Ash body makes it rare in itself both in looks and tonality then an actual Strathead built by the real company in the early 90's. This is not only a great guitar to own and play but also an investment that will go up in value every year. A beautiful, rare and unique Charvel Jackson! A must for any Jackson collector. Guitar is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction early.
