Hi guys,$1, no reserve. Let the games begin.SO - this guitar is pretty seriously rare. It's not the crappy production Joe Perry Les Paul with the switching pickups and the cheap rosewood fretboard, etc, etc. That's just dust on top of the finish in the pictures - man, the camera sure brings out dust that isn't visible to the naked eye! I'm going to leave you to polish it because you'll have your preferred products, etc. This is the LIMITED TO 200 Gibson Custom Shop 1996 Joe Perry Les Paul - Joe used one himself until they released the Boneyard, which in my opinion was always over the top.I'm a sucker for a blackburst finish, and you can see why here - This is a really gorgeous one, and it has a fabulous 3D arch top.The pickups were custom wound for Joe, but details are really hard to come by on this model. There aren't any pull out knobs or switches, this is a straight top quality Les Paul made to the requests of the man himself. I'd expect the pickups are wound close to what Joe considers to be the best in a 1959 Les Paul. He ought to know, he's got a few!Other features include a tone chambered mahogany body, a gorgeous flame maple neck, the Aerosmith wings inset into the abalone 12th fret marker. The fingerboard is ebony, a perfect match to this guitar's dark theme.I believe that's Joe Perry's hand signature with a gold Sharpie on the outside of the case. I've taken a high resolution photo for you. I bought it used and so I don't have the original certificate of authenticity. Why am I getting rid of it? In addition to having too many guitars, Joe prefers a 1959 "baseball bat" neck profile, which is fine for his monster hands, but for me, I'm going to try and get a slim taper 1960 neck Les Paul down the road, because I find that more comfortable.I'll ship internationally, but you'll accept the customs risks. Thanks very much.
