1988 FENDER HM STRAT.(HEAVY METAL)LOOKS AND SOUNDS AMAZING.THIS IS THE REAL DEAL....VERY RARE GUITAR.24 FRETS,DIMARZIO PICKUPS,COIL TAP,DB BOOST.MOSTLY ORIGINAL EXCEPT FOR THE WAMMY BAR AND COLOR.ACTION IS VERY LOW AND ALL ELECTRONICS WORK LIKE NEW.NECK IS STRAIGHT,NO ISSUES.FRETS ARE VERY GOOD HAVE PLENTY OF LIFE IN THEM.GUITAR WAS KEPT IN MY CLOSET FOR 25 YEARS.THIS GUITAR HAS COUPLE SMALL(VERY SMALL)NICKS.IVE TOUCHED THEM UP SO YOU CAN HARDLY EVEN SEE THEM.NO MAJOR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND.YOUR CHANCE TO OWN A GUITAR FROM FENDER THAT IS PART OF HISTORY.FENDER STRATSILLY OFFERS WILL BE IGNORED.the color on this guitar is not original.its was originnally light blue,these guitars are matched to the color of the stripe on the headstock.it was refinished in my body shop in late 90s.im in the autobody business.ive painted many show cars,the work is second to none.someone mentioned the knobs arent original,i dont rememver changing them,however i could be wrong.someone said the original knobs have a f on them.dont know if its true i havent researched it.the important thing is the guitar has the factory electronics and thats all original
