1987 Jackson Soloist guitar, made in USA. This one was made in Ontario,CA. Serial number J296x I purchased from a private party on ebay about 15 years ago. The guitar has spent most of its life in a case.
The guitar is beautiful tabacco burst finish, with a Factory Kahler tremolo, Ebony fretboard with cream binding.
Plays well and sounds great. It is in great condition considering that it is 29 years old. The previous owner had different pickups installed and restored the original Jackson pickups in it before i bought it.
There are a very few nicks and scratches, minor here and there, some fret wear, and some wear to the pickups where the pick hit them.
Additionally the clear coat has some peeling in a couple places and bubbling in a couple areas, ( on back of neck, by Jackson logo, and on back near electronics plate. Tried to get it all in the pics)
I had it strung with .009 gauge strings, but could probably use a tune up depending on your choice of strings.
A Jackson TSA case is a year or two old and great condition and is included.
Also included is Allen wrenches for the Kahler locking nut, and aftermarket whammy bar. Please ask all questions before bidding.
