This is the guitar you have to own and see for yourself. Storied in history and Rolling Stones lore, this guitar was a custom order for Keith Richards back in 1987. Originally conceived as to contain a "tumbling (or rolling) stones" painting on the body, it was later changed to "tumbling dice" artwork. Painted by Pamelina and safely protected by poly, this Fender has many of the most talented Custom Shop Masterbuilders and Fender guru craftsmen attached to its creation. Richard Syarto, John Page, Scott Grant, Michael Stevens and Fred Stuart. They all had their unique artistic input into this one of a kind stratocaster. Constructed of Alder body, figured birdseye maple and flame maple neck, indian rosewood fretboard (with 6230 vintage frets), Seymour Duncan staggered Alnico pickups, Gotoh tuners and five-way pickup switch.
This is a collectible that you will pass on to your grandchildren. A museum worthy display piece that should be housed in the Smithsonian, it is available today, in wonderful condition complete with original Fender paperwork and premium guitar case. If you plan on making one worthwhile guitar purchase this year, make this the one you go for.
