One of Ibanez's early efforts to set themselves apart from Gibson and related copy guitars. And set themselves apart they did! By a long, long ways! This is not your grandpa's Gibson! A truly unique design for its time that has been reproduced in countless variations with the Paul Stanley version taking center stage. Paul Gilbert reversed the body and called his version the Fireman. This example is in excellent original condition and has the typical scuffs and dents commensurate with a 40 year old guitar but nothing major. Has minor fret wear in the first position but does not affect playability. Chrome parts are still bright with only minor evidence of corrosion on the bridge. Original plush lined case has several wear spots but is still very presentable and need not be replaced. Overall a beautiful guitar that is rarely seen for sale. From a pet and smoke free environment. Blue tape on case is for inventory purposes only and will be removed prior to shipment. Another piece of blue tape is on the corner of the case to hold a small piece of the cover for future gluing if desired. That tape will be left on. Awesome guitar, trusted seller, Thanks!!!!!
