Up for sale is a left-handed Fender Telecaster that rivals any custom shop guitar Fender ever produced. To begin with, it has an American standard 3 piece alder body AND a neck made by USA Custom Guitars in Washington. These necks are far superior to anything Fender has made since the 60s. The neck alone cost me over $350 with the options I chose. This neck has jumbo stainless steel frets. The frets have absolutely no fret ware whatsoever and are beautifully shaped. The pick ups are as follows, neck: Rio grande tallboy wide range Bridge: Rio grande half breed There is a heavy duty toggle switch where the tone control used to be for splitting coils- neck black coil alone, in the middle it's the 2 black coils together and in the bridge it's the black coil alone. Move the switch back ( toward the bridge) and it's all humbucking. This guitar is meant for players who need both versatility, that's going to do what they want to do straight out of the case and a guitar that's built like a tank. The entire Guitar has been completely and professionally rebuilt from the ground up. The intonation is spot on the neck is perfect ('63 shape) and slightly worn. The tuning keys are GOTOH. The bridge is from a company called Armadillo machine works in Texas who makes custom bridges for telecasters. It's made out of solid brass. The saddles are Graph Tech string savers. The neck plate is also made by armadillo and is extra thick and made out of solid high grade stainless steel. As stated, the frets are jumbo Jascar stainless steel. This guitar is meant to take a pounding. It's completely shielded on the inside and will not squeal at high volumes like most telecasters. In addition to being aged and broken in, it has absolutely no flaws whatsoever. It does not need to be set up nor does it need any improvements as they've already been made. The body is made from three-piece alder and the neck radius is 7.25. String gauge it set up for currently is 11's. This super tele cost me over $1700 to build.
