Yanagisawa Japan T901 Tenor Sax Serial#00255204 With Original Padded CaseI've played this horn as my primary instrument for the last 4 years. I purchased it new. It is a great horn. I gigged and traveled with this horn professionally full time, in a big band, showband, funk, soul, blues, rock and roll, and small group jazz settings. It has served me very very well and I'll be passing it along at a nice price. I tend to play quite hard, pushing a lot of air. This horn is really durable and it has great response in all registers including the upper altissimo. It's got a big booming sound down low and strong throughout. The reason I've played and preferred Yanagisawa is because of theexcellent intonation and even strength throughout all registers. No stuffiness. The action is also great, broken in and responsive. It has a big classic tenor sound with warmth and body, but can also be pushed, as it has a lot of room to move in a powerful blues, funk, fusion and rock style. The pics give a good look at the horns cosmetics. It has normal wear indicative of full time gigging. It is in current excellent playing condition. It was never damaged nor altered. (1/8" tiny ding on the left side of the neck/no affect. Not visible in pic.) You may want to replace the high D pad and ad a key guard screw on the low Eb. Corks, bumpers, springs are all excellent. The horn is playing smoothly and strong and is ready for more.I didn't travel with the case so it is in excellent/nearmint condition. I'll also include the tenor stand with peg, for flute or clarinet, and neckstrap.I also have a great, rare Frank Wells mouthpiece sold separately, here on ebay.
