The old vintage exotic Schecter bass necks are among the most coveted entities in all of "Bassdom", and this one here is a real beaut. (instrument grade wood of this caliber is just not around anymore in this day and age). And the old Schecter company had the best of the best "back in the day" (1970's & 80's)The pictures above speak for themselves. The neck of any guitar is the first thing I "fall in love with", and even more so on an electric bass guitar, where the neck is such an obviously large and prominent part of the playing experience). The first few pictures have the original "reversible" pickguard in place, and then I removed it in the next few photos to show the wood of the body. ("either or", decision up to the next owner). The neck is straight and true with primo Schecter nickel silver perfect jumbo frets and a perfect neck profile playing action up and down the neck, with no fret wear or fingerboard wear. (It's from my personal playing collection; there4 well taken care of.)Featured here are the mint condition original vintage fantastic sounding active Alembic single coil + humbucking combination pickups configuration, in the exotic Solid Hawaiin Koa Body. Plus rare special graphite control knobs (see photo). The original very cool streamline gig bag* is included, along with the 2 allen adjustment wrenches for the original Schecter Logo bass bridge (solid brass in black finish), plus 2 little decorative bass headstock pins (see photos), one pinned on the edge of the gig bag and one elmer-glued on the end of the headstock (easily removable if so desired by next owner, (but they look cool). *( I always liked my Bass guitars in gig bags, (as recommended years ago by famous bassist Stanley Clarke himself). It's currently strung with mint condition top quality round wounds (which I don't recall what brand, but I always used top notch quality strings, so they're something good.Enjoy, (to the next lucky bass player who owns and plays this rare item. That neck is Totally Awesome)Grab it, it will be worth more. Instrument Grade Wood like that Neck is "good as gold" into the future.Ozzy
