This is a 2015 new Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Historic 1968 Custom Black Beauty in hand rubbed VOS nitrocellulose ebony finish. Sports an ebony fretboard, which is slowly becoming a thing of the past. Weighs 9.25 pounds, (heavy), and is not fenestrated. Mahogany solid body with maple cap which was a changeover from one solid piece of mahogany. Period correct absence of "Made in the USA" embossing on back of headstock. Dual Custom 1968 pickups simulating the original PAF's. Long neck tenon. Low fretwire height- hence the name fretless wonder. Speedy playing like power steering. Holly veneer headstock. Hide glue. Aged hardware. Kluson reissue closed waffle back tuners in gold with plastic tulip tuning knobs in gold plated plastic. Ships in original case/carton, and includes all tags etc. 100% complete.
