NOTE, This is for sale locally cheaper on Los Angeles C L. If it does sell there first i will take down this ad.What i have here is a really sweet Carvin CT6 California carved top guitar. If you are looking at it you probably have done your research on these. I can only concur with what you are hoping, that it is a great guitar. Below i am going to post a copy from the Carvin Kiesel site of what the known specs of this are. I have sold 2 of these previously and a CS4 and CS6. So i am quite familiar with this series of guitar. Here is my assessment of this model and the previous ones. This model in particular i was pleasantly surprised at, that it is made of extra light wood. It weighs 7.25lbs on my scale. My others were around 8-9lbs. This one sounds absolutely huge when you play it. Fast, jump off the board resonance, and big time sustain. It is articulate and three dimensional sounding. The heavier CT6's i have played had thicker maple tops. To much maple will give you a fat tone, but a compressed tone that sounds forward without the "open" 3D sound you get from warm woods like mahogany and Alder. So it is a fine balance between bright woods and warm woods. If you combine them right you get a complex detailed tone. If you have a fat giant slab of maple or walnut that is over an inch thick on your guitar it will not sound as musical. So with this model here i am hearing a the right amount of airiness and bite. It's really a perfect build.See pics for condition. It is in very good used condition. Some minor playwear and perhaps a couple finish dings. It has a coil tap on the tone knob, gold hardware, comfy low action with no buzzing. A very high grade exotic quilted maple top. And the best tuners in the world Sperzel locking machine heads. The fretboard is dark streakless Ebony. It is comparable to the custom 24 from the Paul brand. Where they differ the most in price. Carvin does not make a mid and entry level bracket guitar. Every guitar is the best guitar they can make. I have a few other's for sale and target this brand because i believe in their quality so much. I think they are the best tone/quality to price ratio guitars. This will ship in it's deluxe tweed G&G made Carvin case. Also i will include the case keys, truss rod wrench, and dunlop strap locks.I ship via fedex fully insured. If you have any questions get in touch.THESE ARE THE CLOSEST SPECS IF THIS WERE TO BE CUSTOM ORDERED.
