NOEL GALLAGHER SUPERNOVA GUITAR WITH BIGSBY!1st EDITION 97' PEERLESS! REAL RELIC Originally,Man city blue sparkle metallic'.... When i was 17 had it refinished to match Noel's / Johnny Marr's Es-355.... It was 'Vintage' refinished by Dan Macpherson .. http://www.macphersonguitars.com/ The Bigsby was also added... Dan was and still is the guitar tech /restorer for 'Gary Winterflood' (Vintage Guitar Dealer to the 'Stars') Gary Winterflood provided Noel / Oasis with a lot of vintage guitars & amps and sold Noel the guitar he uses today (early 60's Gibson Es-355) The guitar has a 59' Seymour Duncan antiquity in the bridge (which has aged incredibly!) and a 490 Gibson ceramic in the neck... The guitar also carries gold 'Grover' tuners from a Gibson Es-355 from the mid 1960's... it has a gibson reproduction scratchplate fitted (i have the original signature plate as well....sticker removable) In parts alone this guitar is worth more than a 100% stock Supernova... The guitar has heavy and real hardworking honest play-wear.. it's a natural 'Relic'.... it is coming on 19 years old;) The guitar plays and sounds beautiful, and is as close to spot on as your gonna get to Noels Es-355 ... Plus this is a 'Noel styled' Supernova.... I've gigged it in oasis tributes up until 3 years ago. No issues plays great except I have the toggle switch glued down in the bridge pickup position (to stop it getting knocked up) If your wanting that Es355 for a reasonable price this is it.! Check out the last photo featuring an actual 1960 Es-355 used by Noel in the summer of 2009 when his no.1 was in for an emergency service....This modded Supernova is spot on as you can see. The guitar comes without the original hardcase as it has been flight-cased racked on tour for the last 9 years or so... I can arrange a fitted hardcase at cost to be discussed with buyer.
