Vintage 1970s B.C. Rich Seagull Electric Guitar Natural Wood Minor Issues Please ReadUp for sale we have a BC Rich Seagull electric guitar from 1970s. Before Spinal Tap and metal heads in general picked up on the wacky body designs and the overall pointy-ness of Rich's guitars, Bernardo Chavez Rico made the Seagull electric guitar as a change from his own line of flamenco style acoustics. This Seagull features a factory natural finish. Mahogany body, Neck-through construction, and 2 DeArmond humbuckers. Please note this guitar does have some issue: There is a 3-inch fracture near the headstock visible on the underside of the guitar. It does not seem to go through and may just be in the finish surface area. It is difficult to tell so please examine the pictures carefully. The guitar plays and functions normally and this does not affect playability. This B.C. Rich has been reduced over 700 dollars because of this issue leaving room for any future repair if needed. The guitar is being sold as is, no returns because of this issue. Lastly, looks like someone sanded the back of the headstock. I don’t know what’s up with that or why this was done. Probably to repaint and was abandoned for some reason. The guitar also has minor superficial dings, scratches, wear and tear around various parts of the guitar. Typical of a guitar of this age. As with any guitar that’s been sitting in storage it going to need new strings and set up. Please consider this when bidding on my items.
