Hi, up for auction is an early '80's Kramer Pacer Series Imperial. This guitar is all original, just as I found it in a music store in NJ about 1 1/2 years ago. It has a one piece flat sawn maple neck with the very rare strat shaped headstock! It has a 1 5/8" nut and a U-shaped profile. The pickups are the original Schaller stock pickups, including the Hot Stuff bridge pickup ( no it's not a DiMarzio!). I've only seen the Golden 50 in these guitars before and I have an '83 Deluxe that had the golden 50 in the bridge so I guess they only used the Hot Stuff very early on..( when I worked there on the late '80's I never saw any around the factory). The rest of the electronics are all original, as is the rest of the gold hardware, which has some wear but function perfectly. It didn't come with a trem arm and I didn't purchase one. The 'A' series neck plate is chrome, as all the early ones were.  The 2 piece body is probably alder or basswood, not maple as some were, or nearly as heavy as my '83. The guitar weighs about 7.5 lbs total. The cream finish is in very good condition with a couple of long cracks, and just a few bumps and scrapes that you'd expect on a 30+ (!) year old guitar.  The finish on the neck is in excellent condition, and the neck is straight with a well working truss rod and wide medium low frets. I set it up w D'Addario 10's. It plays great and sounds killer.  I bought an older tweed unknown brand case to go with the guitar when I got it. It's not original, and the guitar is a little loose in there. If you would rather not have the hard case I'll swap out a NOS fender gig bag or deduct the $50 I paid for it.  I dig this guitar, and as a former Kramer collector of sorts it was a great find. However I just don't play it enough and am raising funds to buy a guitar from a custom builder friend of mine, so I want this to go to someone who will play it more and enjoy it. It's a great axe for a player or Kramer collector. It would be a great Christmas present!   Ok, as always please feel free to ask questions and good luck bidding!  Happy Holidays!
