Gibson 61 Reissue SG - Heritage Cherry
In 1961, the Les Paul was redesigned with a thinner body and 2 sharp cutaway horns making the upper frets more accessible while lowering production costs. The new guitar was popular, but Les Paul the guitarist did not like it and asked to have his name removed. Gibson renamed the model the "SG" which was short for "solid guitar". Though Les Paul's name was officially removed from the model in 1961, the plastic Les Paul nameplates (positioned between the rhythm pickup and fingerboard) were in abundance in the Gibson factory and SG models having these nameplates were built and sold by Gibson up to end of 1963.In very good condition....weighs 7.3 lbs.Includes Gibson softcase

5. Regarding collectibles, are all mint? Not all but most are in good condition. I will always do my very best to describe every item in detail.
6. Do you define "played with" as poor condition? No, played with means the item is simply not mint. However, it still may be in good condition if the item was taken care of.
7. Are there "blemishes" on the items? I only sell very nice and clean items, without blemishes. However I will always note if and where they are for your determination!
8. Do you offer refunds on your items? If an item is described in error or incomplete, I will honor a refund or a replacement item of credit. You must let me know within 3 days of receipt of item. Unfortunately, I can not refund postage costs!
9. Can I receive additional pictures? I usually place a significant amount of pictures for my items to see all views, close-ups of any damage or details and a full description. However, if I miss an important element that is needed I will certainly add or send additional pictures!
