Description

A beautiful guitar, handmade by the late Sussex Luthier Paul Richardson. This is a very high end guitar, with exceptional craftsmanship and woods, Kent Armstrong pickups, a push-pull pot wiring system, Schaller bridge, and Gotoh tuners. I know that John Martyn commissioned a similar guitar from Paul Richardson in the 80s!There are some cosmetic nicks and marks in keeping with it's 33 years, but the neck is pretty much perfect. It was recently set up for open-D by Badlands Guitars in Brighton, so the action is a little higher than the normal, but this would be an easy adjustment. I was told by the original owner that this cost the equivalent of about £1400 in today's money in 1984. The 'Buy It Now' price of £777 is just a starting point and what I'd value it at, but I've put this up as open to offers as it's very rare and so tricky to value. Please do feel free to make an offer of what you think it's worth.Collection from Brighton welcome. Will post in hard case otherwise. Thanks for looking!
