This is my only guitar. I've been playing this all the time through a 63 VOX AC 15 and I just can't tell you that is a "one of" and absolutely amazing piece of wood that plays awesome all styles. I'm dying about lettting this go but now I want to play a 66 Gibson 335 with bigsby that I recently try and was outstanding too.All original. No cracks, no repairs, incredibly resonant and P90s that scream and can be sweet. Amazing playability with low action.
Date is 1964 made in Kalamazoo. Tuners just great stays in tune perfect.
It's a player guitar. Pick guard missing comes in a newer tight fitting hard case.
Not much to tell. Awesome tone, very lively guitar. Sounds incredibly well with a Princeton and vintage fenders and just perfect bity clarity with EL84 amps. Loves alnico speakers! Juicy creamy crunch through them.
I've been playing all stuff in live concerts. (Faces, Stones, the band, Neil Y,Beatles..petty, British) it takes everything heavenly with my VOX and a DAM rangemaster and MXR microamp!!Light and you feel a fantastic piece of wood through your hands. Have the pre 65 headstock of the best casinos. same year as Paul Mcarthney.
Some players here with 60s gibsons 330s smoked the 3 of them. These Casinos pre 65 are absolutely wonderful, have the wide nut and built perfect. I my case I found the 330s a bit darker and more jazzy than the Casinos I've played. I prefered the Casinos for its clarity and rock tone over the 330s.This guitars pre 65 go 6/7 K original for collection, so I guess it's a great oportunity and a bargain when you plug it and here what's this about!!
