For sale is my Jackson SLS3 Soloist lightweight made in Japan. It is my go to guitar, very rare and I love it but a sudden opportunity for a family gathering pushed me to put it up for sale. This is not your average MIJ Jackson as good as they are, it is as good as a USA soloist and I do know since I owned the USA version(3rd photo) and sold it not too long ago. The guitar is in Mint condition, not a scratch on it. Only some wear on the bridge as I said it is my go to guitar. The difference is that the body is Mahagony so the tone is a bit warmer/bassier than the sharper Alder of the USA soloist however the neck is thinner and fretwork is superior. Low action 1.5mm on high E and 2 on the low with 10-46 set. It could be the model in general or this particular one. It is also very light yet somehow louder acoustically. The only issue I had was the SH1 in the bridge was too melow for me and I upgraded it to a Bare knuckle Nailbomb(160 USD upgrade). I like the modern metal tone and Nailbomb is best for it. Punchy with the right bite and very full bodied yet clear for chords. however I decided to keep the SH1 in for the neck position because it has a warm bluesy tone that compliments the Mahagony body.If you have any questions or offers please ask. For shipping Outside US and Canada please contact me.
