Bought in Florida, USA some years ago. The amazing guitar – light and comfortable, breezy and soundly – offers rainbow of sounds: it can be very “Gibsony” as well as “Fendery”. The slanted humbucker is a genius idea. It weights only 3.5 kg. This original Gibson Nighthawk in the ebony/black finish with the gold hardware was born in the 1994 Centennial year, time of Gibson´s 100-year anniversary 1894-1994, what is generally considered very desirable coveted good wood year. The guitar has the serial number 94001023 Made in USA (Nashville, Tennessee). Especially and only for this 1994 Centennial year – the most notable exception – all Gibson’s models start with the number 94 and obtaining additional numbers in sequence within the year. Both in the States and with me this guitar was only the session instrument. That’s why this Nighthawk is in a really fine condition, Naturally it has a signs of making music on the original frets (still absolutely OK) and some little finish scratches on the back of the neck, but you will be surprised how beautiful and freshly it looks for it's ege. The electronics obviously work perfect. The guitar comes with the Gibson Vintage Witch Hat Knobs, but the original Gibson Amber Top Hat Knobs will be included (see foto also with these knobs). The Gibson Humbucker strings 10-46 are put on and the action above XII fret is: E1 – 1.5 mm, E6 – 2 mm. Shipping cost (courier) to Germany – 35 EUR with the safe packing (hard case/carton box). Please ask for the shipping cost to the other countries.
