This instrument is a Used Model in Very Good Cosmetic Condition and in Perfect Playing Condition. On this one, there are several scratches on the pickup covers (see 15th and 16th pictures) and some dents, small notches and finish imperfections around the binding (17th to 22nd pictures). Also, there are some fine scratches and small dents here and there (see 23rd to 30th pictures), but nothing really major. On the case, the handle has been changed and there are some rips and scratches (see 12th to 14th pictures). Unit comes in a Hardshell Case. MODIFICATIONS : This guitar has been Refretted (recently), Repainted and Refinished with Nitro Cellulose Lacquer. The tuners have been changed for New Old Stock Kluson Waffle Back Tuners and the bridge for a Gotho TOM Bridge (Made in Japan). Also the Pickguard, the Toggle Switch Ring and the Back Plates have been changed after purchase. The Pickups and Potentiometers are Original. On the case, the Handle was changed (see 12th picture). LES PAUL CUSTOM It took the combined efforts of the finest Gibson craftsmen and the ingenious Les Paul to create this fabulous, contemporary sounding guitar. The LP-Custom is popular with rock groups because of its amazing sustain capabilities. In addition, twin T-Top nickel-plated humbucking pickups contribute to the clarity of tone and brilliance of the treble and bass frequencies. In 1968, Gibson reintroduced the Les Paul Custom as a two pickup model. In 1970, a "Made in USA" stamp was added to the back of the headstock, and a volute was added to help strengthen the headstock. FEATURES: - Ebony finished honduras mahogany body with graceful single cutaway design - Laminated to a carved maple top bound with alternating white and black binding - Three-piece laminated mahogany neck with adjustable truss rod - 22 fret ebony fingerboard.
