Vintage 1959 Hofner President Archtop Electric Guitar. A killer vintage archtop with a super cool original Natural finish!Plays and sounds incredible. Solid Spruce arched top is stunning. Back is super nice curly Maple. This is the real day from the golden age of Hofner. Action is low and playability is superb. Killer tone. Tuners are repros as is the pickguard. It appears there may have been a heel repair but it may have been the way Hofner put their guitars together. Comes with a soft case. Original Hofner pickup is nice and warm and vibrant. Sounds fantastic, has a warm, full bodied tone with a woody attack. Great for blues and jazz styles. Excellent condition with signs of normal wear. Just cosmetic blemishes and typical signs of use over the years. Overall a great vintage archtop, don't miss it! Comes with a soft shell case.Guitar is exactly as pictured.
