A great tribute to a guitar icon! The Fender Billy Corgan Strat gives players the platform to replicate Corgan's much imitated tone.I'm a fan of the Billy Corgan sound but this guitar is suitable for anyone who wants a strat suitable for hi-gain work. The bottom end is massive and the hot pickups offer a great choice of thick chunk and searing lead. The hardtail gives you sustain for days. A great made in the USA Strat is the starting point. The body is alder for good tone and sustain. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 radius maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets. Dual Dimarzio Billy Corgan humbuckers team up with a Dimarzio Chopper for tons of sounds. A string through bridge and sealed tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is Olympic White and is set off by chrome hardware and Black plastic. The finish is a satin matte nitro lacquer to allow all of the tone out and to wear in a cool, vintage way. Other features include a big 70s style headstock and modern C shaped neck. An incredible instrument for 90s rock fans!This Billy Corgan Strat plays and sounds great. The neck is straight, the action is Low and the frets are full. The pickups deliver a variety of tones. Everything works as it should. Condition wise, this would be a fine guitar for a player. It shows Very light clearcoat/Pick scratches. Comes in a Fender tweed hardshell case with Some of the case CandyFender no longer offers the Billy Corgan Strat.
