I've read that despite the serial numbers going up to 508, there were only 307 made due to the chroming difficulty - on some builds, the chrome bubbled.  With the exception of three "micro bubbles", mine is MINT - look at the photos and see for yourself.  The three "micro bubbles" are from 1/64" in diameter (about 0.4mm) to maybe 3/64" in diameter (about 1.2mm).  They were there when I bought the guitar new in the late '90s, and they're still there.  No new bubbles have surfaced.  I keep the home and guitars humidified.
It comes with it's own silver-finish hardshell case, strap, and cord, all of which are specially built for and came with the JS10.It's worth every penny. You can come over and look at it in San Francisco up to and including Boxing Day (the day after Christmas), but before you enter I need to snap a pic of your Driver's License -   it's in my home, and I want to know who is coming into my home.If you want to play it, don't wear any belt buckles, zippers, etc.  There's no scratches on it, and if you scratch it, you own it.  I'm sure I sound bitchy, but "they ain't makin' these no more", and I'm doing everything I can to keep it in mint condition. All deals via PayPal.  No cashier's checks, no cash.  Price is firm.  If it doesn't sell this Christmas, it'll sell next one - I'm happy to store it and keep it in mint condition, and since they're not making any more JS10's, it can only become rarer.I will give the winning buyer a written Bill Of Sale with my home address after I receive the payment.  It's a non-trivial guitar, and that's why it's a non-trivial price.  I've been on eBay since 1996 and my rating is 100% for a reason.
Before shipping, I will bubble wrap it, place it in a plain box, and secure the box with filament tape.  It will be shipped insured for the purchase price via FedEx.Be aware that if you live in a cold climate, the weather changes during shipping may affect the guitar - in this case, you should bring it into your home and NOT unpack it for 36 hours, to let it *slowly* warm up in your home before opening it.  I take NO responsibility for chrome damage due to cold weather mishandling - it may be better for you to come out to SF and pick it up after payment.AMERICAN BUYERS ONLY (lower 48 and Hawaii).  If you live in Alaska, contact me in spring.
