Please note all our guitars are in stock at time of listing and are available to try by appointment prior to purchasing. Original 1980 White Gibson Les Paul Custom that has had its pickguard, switch ring and pickup covers removed and added witches hats knob's and 50's pin up girl decals added to give the guitar the look and vibe of Steve Jones' white Les Paul used with the Sex Pistols. The guitar has been lightly played and is showing the odd mark and some minor lacquer damage from a guitar hanger but nothing major and the original frets are still in excellent condition. No repairs or any issues. The headstock is stamped 'SECOND' which indicates a minor cosmetic flaw or an employee guitar but no flaw has been detected, the neck is straight, the truss rod works, it intimates and plays in tune. Overall a good 8.5 out of 10 condition. The pickguard, switch ring, pickup covers and knob's it originally came with are included and the decals will remove easily if desired. Original T-Top Patent No pickups and wiring are original and intact. Guitar plays superb with a low slinky super fast action, massive sound and a fairly big neck profile with with the wide nut width. Save yourself £2000 by not buying the official Custom Shop Steve Jones Tribute Les Paul and get this original late 70's spec Norlin period Gibson instead! Original hard shell Gibson Gen 1 'Chainsaw' Protector case included. A real killer guitar.
