What makes this guitar special: Hand-built in Albuquerque, NM by Carl Robl, this lightweight T-style electric is exceptionally well-crafted & offers a unique take on a classic model. Both the neck & body are hand carved & not pre-fab parts. Carl also winds his own pickups, so what you're looking at is truly a guitar that's built from the ground up. The superb playability & remarkable dynamics offered by Race Gas Customs give players the luxury of knowing they own a first-class guitar, and since no two are exactly alike, each creation is truly one-of-a-kind. Neck: Somewhat chunky/medium profile Black Limba neck with beautifully figured Ziricote fingerboard. Turquoise dot inlays & side-dots with double black mother of pearl dots in the 12th fret. 10" fingerboard radius with 22 medium jumbo frets. Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners with mint green buttons. 1 11/16" bone nut; 25 1/2" scale length.Body: Reclaimed Western Red Cedar with Danish oil finish & hand-painted pin stripes. String-thru bridge with "barrel" saddles & black nickel hardware. Brass nameplates with Race Gas Customs logo. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 12.1 oz.Pickups: Handwound Alnico 5 single coils with Bourns Electronics. Bridge - 6.98K ohms; Neck - 6.44K ohms.
