Fender American Series Telecaster Black 2001 American Series (also known as American Standard Series these days) Fender Telecaster in black. Why Fender renamed their American Standards they had been making since 1988 in 2000 no-one knows, but they changed it back in 2008. Features include an alder body with black finish, modern 6-saddle bridge, (partially birdseye) maple neck and fretboard with modern 9,5" radius, roller stringtree, two Fender single coil pickups, Spaghetti logo and Fender tuners. Condition is excellent with some expected signs of use on the body and neck.
