1989 Fender Deluxe American Stratocaster

This is something of a rare late 1980’s Stratocaster. This looks like a Fender Strat 'Plus' but is in fact an American Deluxe with Lace Sensors. In 1989, Fender introduced 'Deluxe American Standard Strat' and discontinued them in 1990. According to the Blue Book of Guitars there was an estimated 400 instruments of these 'Deluxe American Standard Strat' produced .These strats came with all the features of a Strat Plus, including gold lace sensors but no locking tuners or roller nut. The one I am selling ( as pictured ) is in an exception condition for a guitar of its age. There are only two (2) very small dings in picture 10, which are almost not noticeable except if very closely inspected.Comes with the original hang tag and fender strap. As for the case, I am not sure if its an original fender but it definitely never came with the guitar, as according to the hang tag code ( 10-9400-5 ), this guitar never came with a case. But the actual case does the job and has been kept in there for more than a decade.The guitar itself comes with gold lace sensors, rosewood fretboard and the neck is as good as new. It has been played only a handful of times. Tuners keep perfectly in tune and have no issues. I will also include another original fender scratchplate with the guitar if you dont fancy the pearly oneIf you need more pictures, please do not hesitate to get in touch. I would prefer collection but will post ( insured and tracked ) if cannot collect.I could consider p/x for a Gibson LS or a US Fender Jazzmaster, could meet up within London for the exchange and have a pint :)Thank you for having taken the time to read my listing and season greetings to you
