Description
Exact Year: 1980

This is a Flatiron 1SH "pancake"-style mandolin built in Bozeman, Montana in 1980.  It is in very good condition and is a good little mandolin that I have owned for two years and have played it at many gigs and have enjoyed it, but am upgrading.  It is easy to play and has low strings along the neck.  It is presumably spruce top with maple back and sides.  This is the first mandolin I bought, and I think it is a good option for a beginner or novice player looking for a reasonably priced, good sounding mandolin with character.  There are a few dings on the instrument finish but no significant damage in any way.  Includes good Canadian hard-shell case.
