1974 Gibson Les Paul Custom 20th Anniversary Black Beauty with Original case! This is the 20th Anniversary guitar to celebrate the LP Custom which came out in 1954. This guitar is all original, pots dated 74, pick-ups PAT NO, tuners, knobs, all original. BUT at one time in the past it had a headstock repair i discovered with black light, with the naked eye it is not visible. Original case is included. The Les Paul Custom is based on the model from the 1950s. The body is crafted with a hand-carved maple top, which is fitted to a body made from a solid piece of mahogany. The 24 ¾-inch scale length neck is maple and then topped by a 22-fret Ebony fingerboard outfitted with pearl block inlays and given Gibson’s traditional slim to medium profile. Lovely warm and bluesy les paul sound. Rocks good too and sustains for days. Other appointments include Gibson’s legendary Nashville Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, metal tulip tuners, multi-ply white and black binding on both the top and back, gold hardware and a 1 11/16” nut width. 1 case has a lock gone, 2 are still functional so the case is safe.PRICE TOO HIGH??
