This is an ULTRA rare, USA-built, white Steinberger XL25A WIDE FIVE bass. Only a very small number of original Steinberger wide five-string basses were produced, and finding a near-mint white one is remarkable. Jeff Babicz, who was the former head of production at the Steinberger Sound factory in Newburgh, N.Y. did a complete restoration on this bass, including a mirror-polishing of the frets, disassembling, cleaning and lubricating the bridge, and servicing the electronics, to bring it back to its original factory specs. This bass is in stunning condition and now that this restoration work has been completed, this incredible bass should need no any further attention for the next 25 years. A perfect playing bass that's been serviced by the world's top Steinberger tech, it now plays and performs as well as (or probably better than) the day that it first left the factory.
