Benedetto Howard Alden 6 String Signature in Great Shape
Serial Number 238 This guitar is in on consignment. It is in great shape. It's clean, cosmetically (aside from light surface swirling common on Nitro Finishes) and it is fully functioning. The neck is straight, the frets are still in great shape and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case.There is not a lot of info about these guitars but according to a Reverb listing from Bob Benedetto, himself, these 6 strings version are very rare. I believe this is 1 of only 5 that were ever made. This is a masterfully crafted instrument that firmly reinforces Benedetto's reputation as one of the best arch top builders the world has ever seen. This beauty is built for Jazz and couldn't be any better at nailing those warm, rich, and dark tones.
