Set at a price which will be hard to match again,a recent sale of this model of guitar was twice the buy it now option given here .... don,t miss it !Please check out my collection on sale in Ebay now !In 1960 the master guitar builder Yngve Barslev did a repair to this guitar , the treble side lower bout see photo shows a crease line left from his high quality work on this guitar no issues structurally sound read below on the man who not only did this work but added and signed a label inside the guitat see photo of his label ad notes to confirm his work ! http://www.vintage-guitars.se/Levin/Levin_Model_325_info.htm Arch top body with single cutaway, hand carved solid spruce top, maple sides and back. Overall length: 42.15" (107cm), scale: 25" (63.5cm). Neck-width: 44 mm at the nut / 54 mm at the 12th fret. Body: 18" (45cm) wide, 20.8" (53cm) long and 3" (7.5cm) deep. Violin sunburst finish, rosewood fret board with MOP markers. Gold plated brass tailpiece, carved adjustable ebony bridge with string compensation included Original gold plated tuners. Slim D-shaped 5-layer mahogany neck with 20 frets.. A true masterpiece instrument with excellent voice and perfect separation of single notes, very jazzy ! Very good condition considering its age, some small scratches and crackles in the original finish.

Very low action 3/32th inch at the 12th fret The guitar comes in a crocodile hard shell case as shown on the photo. - See pictures for details! A rare instrument for players as well as for collectors Yngve Barslev Yngve Barslev began making hand made guitars before WW2 and his instruments became really popular during the war which was a time when we couldn't get anything from US due to the German occupation. After the war, demand ceased somewhat due to the American guitars which were now available again. And of course, at the end of the 1950s, electric guitar was what most people wanted and Baslev didn't build electric guitars, though he would fit a floating pickup on request. Barslev's instruments were used a lot by Danish jazz and dance band guitarists. One can still run across a sample in Copenhagen now and then. Usually they are pretty beat up because they were working musicians instruments, not collectors items. I have had the chance to try them a couple of times. IMHO they don't quite match good American archtops. I have sometimes been tempted to buy a Barslev when I saw one in a shop, but if I do it one day, it will be for nostalgic reasons. The Danish shops charge a premium for them, considering their intrinsic utility value and often poor condition. And more......... Born in Hellerup, north of Copenhagen, Kenneth Brögger is Denmark’s leading classical guitar builder of his generation. His career began when he apprenticed with noted Danish guitar maker Yngve Barslev from 1972 to 1975.
