If you require more power, more punch, then you may want the revival design - whereas the original is better suited for a finger picking style. The top of this guitar is Adirondack Spruce, the stiffest of the topwoods. This makes the guitar have lots of power with virtually unlimited headroom and a lightning fast attack with unmatched clarity and definition. Brazilian Rosewood has the ability to provide lushness of Indian Rosewood, while never sacrificing the individual note clarity you get from Mahogany.
