Gretsch G6134CS Red Sparkle Penguin Bigsby Masterbuilt, 2012 Gretsch Custom Shop G6134CS Masterbuilt penguin in Red Sparkle finish. A guitar with quite the wow-factor. The sparkle of the finish looks good in the pictures, but really comes alive if you approach the guitar. This guitar is definitely a joy from the outside, but the beauty has got quite the inside to! If you play it unplugged it is already real resonant with a good sustain. But when the guitar is plugged in you will understand that this guitar has the right to sparkle. It features two TV Jones Classic pickups that will produce a vintage and bright twang and a deep growl. The resonance is produced through the chambered body with arched top, it has a cutaway and gold sparkle bindings, a one piece mahogany neck, gold sparkle bound ebony fretboard with feather-motif hump- block inlays, gold sparkle bound headstoch with winged Gretsch logo and gold sparkle truss rod cover. This is one of the few Custom Shop Red Sparkle Penguins with a factory installed gold Bigsby, that matches the gold plated Grover Imperial tuners, and all the other golden hardware.This Custom Shop Gretsch Penguin is from 2012, is pre owned but in Near mint condition. No visible play or fretwear, just some scratches here and there on the top and on the back.
