For sale here's a USA made STEINBERGER GM4T, serial TN14656, made in 1993; original Steinberger logo gigbag included. DEMO VIDEO:https://youtu.be/sPXpNLoQVeY FOLDER WITH HD PICTURES: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nqci4kwm1qpw61u/AABpMQw5SZgAYLBuApRtVp85a?dl=0 (copy and paste the two links above in your browser bar) The guitar is in very good overall conditions, only the body shows some signs of age and it has a couple of spots where the missing black paint has been touched up. I think the neck has been refretted, as it has 100% new frets on it, and also the fretboard does not show any grainy pattern or wear. But the job must have been performed by an extremely experienced luthier who really knows his stuff about refretting Steinbergers, as there is not any minimal damage, dent or chip, to the fretboard. It is the best playing neck I have ever put my hands on in a Steinberger model, it is butter-slick. The rubber band on the headpiece has also been installed. The neck is missing one of the five screws, but it is a standard flat-head socket cap screw 10-32 x 1-1/2”, easily available in most hardware stores. The body is the only part of the guitar that shows some wear, I would say “player’s grade” conditions, but the best I can do is point you to the detailed pictures for a clear reference. Mainly a couple of spots on the lower side have been touched up, the classical paint crackling on the back and some slightly opaque spots on the lower left side and above the logo on the front. As far as electronics, it sports the classical Steinberger GR configuration, with two Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in neck and middle position and a Seymour Duncan Custom Custom Humbucker in bridge position. I don’t know if this is its stock configuration or if it has been modified, maybe the latter. Standard volume and tone pot and a new input jack. The 5 way selector switch is wired like this: neck (humbucker), neck and middle (both single coil), middle (single coil), middle and bridge (both single coil), bridge (humbucker). It gives you very versatile combinations in my opinion. The neck pickup magnet is slightly detachable from its baseplate (a couple of millimeters), nothing major but I like to point out every single detail in advance. Volume and tone knobs have also been replaced with black metal ones. The TransTrem has been cleaned and lubed, bearings, pins and spring have been replaced with new ones and it now returns to zero with no issues whatsoever. Original trem arm included. The trem is in perfect working conditions, only minor signs of age. At the moment the guitar does not come with calibrated strings so a minimum TransTrem setup will be needed, but I can send you detailed instructions on how to do this in minutes. The guitar will be shipped in its original factory-logo black Steinberger gigbag and it will be very accurately packed. I sell instruments online on a regular basis and you can check my feedback profile for further information. I will ship only to a verified PayPal address and I do not accept any returns, all sales are final as I did my best to describe the guitar in every possible detail.
