Vintage 70's CMI Double Neck, 6 12, SG Style, Lawsuit Japan  Maya  Ibanez Fuji. This guitar was originally purchased in the UK (see headstock label) and was imported to the UK by Jim Marshall's Cleartone Musical Instrument "CMI" company. There isn't a lot of info out there on these, but they were manufactured at one of the major Japanese factories at that time. And judging by the headstock Gibby logo, it was before the "lawsuit" era. The guitar is in almost unplayed condition! With very little wear and just a few dings, and a small patch of buckle, or lean point wear on the back. The guitar was from a first owner, and looks like it mostly sat for decades. The electronics work, but need contact cleaner from non-use. The pickup selector tips are missing. The case is in great shape also. The necks are arrow straight and trussrods work fine. The strings look original as is the dust from sitting. The wood is amazing, as is the fit and finish! A very nice, very playable lawsuit era double neck.
