Seventy Seven Stork Standard 2013 This is a Japanese built Les Paul copy which is semi-hollow so that there is one large chamber which surrounds the solid central section that carries the pickups and tailpiece/bridge. It is lighter than most Les Pauls at 7lbs 13ozs and is well balanced. The standard of construction is very high, being mostly hand built, and the action and fretwork are perfect. It is resonant and loud, and there is zero fretwear. This guitar was bought from Japan in early 2014 (you can see the original ad for it on ebay by Googling “Seventy Seven Stork Std Standard by Deviser/Bacchus” which has lots of photos, better than mine) and it is the same now except for some marks in the lacquer on the back and side, the wood itself is unaffected. ‘Seventy Seven’ are a division of ‘Bacchus’ who make high-end guitars in Japan in terms of quality and workmanship.
