From day-one PRS was churning out amazing guitars and the 90's was really the heyday of this now storied brand. They brought in the famed Ted McCarty in the mid 90s and his namesake model is a great take on what Paul was already building. This one is kind of a one-off McCarty with the trem so it also has PRS locking tuners. Fabulous flame maple top and beautiful cherry sunburst finish. There is a little notch under the bridge pickup ring where a synth-pickup was once mounted. We're glad for that kind of outside the box kind of thinking as they didn't have to drill holes into the top. There's a couple of marks in the paint but overall it is in excellent condition and looks nowhere near its true age. The McCarty pickups sound great and live up to their reputation. Wide/Fat neck shape. Frets still have tons of life in them. Original PRS hard case included.Hover thumbnails to see larger images.
