Offered in "as is" condition 1968 Gibson Trini Lopez Custom Deluxe Cherry Sunburst Guitar.I am selling my all original 1968 Trini Lopez custom deluxe guitar with serial number of 895347. This gorgeous guitar comes in a vintage red and amber sunburst finish with double sharp cutaways for fast lead fretting. The guitars maple top is paired with a surprisingly thin and easily playable mahogany neck. The headstock resembling that of a Fender makes a unique point to the guitars design as well it's distinct diamond shaped F holes only found on this guitar. This design is later inherited by Dave Grohls signature guitar model. The neck has very few small dings almost not noticeable with minor lacquer checking normal of a guitar this age. The back of the body has very minimal scratches besides the already stated lacquer checking. There is a tiny crack running from the top hole used to secure the pickguard. This crack is entirely non problematic and is not in anyway disturbing the beautiful binding. The piece of wood featuring the Trini Lopez Logo will be included with purchase but unfortunately the pickguard is missing. Usually players would remove the pickguard out of convenience for finger picking. The guitar measures 46” long from the end of the tailpiece to the top of headstock, 17” wide by 3.25” deep, and has a 25.5” scale neck. The electronics are all in perfect working order and the Gibson patent humbuckers have a massive tone and growl. This guitar is extremely strong and very well balanced. Overall it is a pleasure and dream to play and look at such a beautiful and well built instrument! I will ship it with the original hardshell case not pictured but in mint condition!
