You are bidding on a 1975 Ibanez Delux 59'er Electric guitar. This 1975 Model 2442 Deluxe 59er Electric guitar represents one of the best clones Ibanez offered back in 1975. This is one of the first of the "Lawsuit" guitars with the open book headstock shape-the first of the clones in the USA, the Deluxe 59'er was discontinued sometime in late 77. , Gibson was upset because many of the guitars that Hoshino was importing into this country in the late 70’s under the Ibanez and other names were exact visual copies of Gibson products, right down to accurate copies of the copywrited headstock designs….anyway Hoshino solved the problem by droping the clones for the US market and introducing 28 new guitar designs in 1978….This guitar is one of the first, and best made visual copy guitars. The Deluxe 59er features: The guitar has very minor wear and tear. Overall, super clean...Some of the Gold Hardware is rubbed down from play ... Thanks
