This is an original Newburgh, NY era Steinberger USA graphite guitar neck. It was removed from a 1985 GP. It mounts with a 5-bolt configuration and will not work with "Music Yo" era guitars that use a 4-bolt pattern.This neck is clean and in very good condition with minor signs of use, it played well with nice action and no buzzing when installed. The frets show moderate wear (heavier on the top end) but they haven't been dressed and have plenty of life (see photos). There are no chips, breaks, cracks or other significant issues, only a few light scratches and a small scuff on the rear profile (pic 10). The rubber band string retainer is missing but it's not necessary.This item comes exactly as pictured.
