BLACKIE - PRISTINE - TBX CIRCUIT- ORIGINAL LACE SENSOR PICKUPS
This is an awesome 2000 American Artist Series Eric Clapton Stratocaster Fenders first Artist series produced originally in 1988 and one of their biggest sellers to date. This "Blackie" will please all slow hand fans for a lot of reasons, this model sports the original Gold lace Sensor pickups, coupled with the active TBX this guitar can really scream ,who needs a tube screamer when you have this at your finger tips, just a turn of the tone control and you have great sustain and drive.The guitar is in pristine condition with minor fret wear, a small fingernail wear on the first fret and some indentation and finish scratches around the back tummy cut all minor and mainly visible at angle, nothing that breaks the paint,fantastic condition for a Black finish and 17 year old guitar.The body is a light weight 7lb 12 oz Alder body with a satin Urethane finish, sporting a Soft "V" shaped maple neck,22 Vintage style Frets, Gotoh Vintage Tuners,3 gold lace sensor pickups, 1 ply white pick guard, American blocked Vintage tremolo, TBX active mid boost ,and to top it off Erics signature on the head stock.The Fender Vintage Tweed G& G case is in excellent condition as well and worth hundreds of dollars on it's own. The case candy is included, with this is the strap, cable, key, cleaning cloth, wrenches, manual, tremolo arm, registration and hang tags. This would make a wonderful gift for a special Birthday, Anniversary, or just spoil yourself. Set at a very reasonable starting price for a guitar that had a RRP of over $3400 +, so at this price this is cheaper than your normal standard Strat what a bargain grab it before someone else does.
