For sale is this stunning loaded Warmoth Fender Stratocaster body, it's all good to go so bolt on the neck of your choice and you've got a guitar that'll sound amazing and make jaws drop.I bought this body from Warmoth, it's a quilted maple over a mahogany body, a bit different for a Strat.  It's light - the body is 4lb 3oz, and is beautifully contoured - Warmoth really know their stuff. The body features a contoured heel and lower horn.  The heel is angles slightly to create easier access to upper frets and the lower horn is slightly chamfered at the read to make access a little easier - you can't tell from the front and is quite a pleasing effect.  The heel doesn't affect the instillation of the neck at all, you just need two slightly shorter neck screws which I will supply to the winning bidder. I then sourced the pickups I wanted - they areBridge - Seymour Duncan 59 - This is the most articulate and 'open' sounding humbucker I've ever played, whatever sound you want to create it'll be done with aplomb, a very classy unit.Middle - Seymour Duncan Duckbucker - basically,a lightly beefed up single coil, great sounding and very similar to a standard single coil.Neck - Seymour Duncan Little 59 - A small version of the 59, does it accurately re-create a humbucker, not really no.  Is it great in it's own way - yes.  Fuller than a regular single coil (probably half way towards a full humbucker) but very clear and musical. The bridge is a Vintage unit from a US 57 reissue, so a quality item. Then it was put together by a professional guitar tech who used top-quality pots and switches and wired it in the following way:The volume know is a push-pull and splits the bridge pickup to a single coil.  The first tone control is a push-pull and brings in the neck pickup whatever the current pickup selection is.So, there are a whole host of sounds available here. This is a top-quality body and pickup combination and offers the chance to put together an amazing guitar for a bargain price. I've had the body as part of a complete guitar for a couple of years and it's been babied during that time so the only mark on it is shown in the pictures, it's really very small and hardly noticeable - other than that it's in fantastic condition.I think the BIN price is very fair considering the cost of the component parts. A body like this is around $550, that around £400-450 plus shipping and an extra 25% in import fees.  The bridge would be £60.  The pickups around £175 and then there's the pots, switches and the cost of someone putting it together properly.Any questions please ask and overseas bidders will need to ask for an accurate shipping quote depending on where in the world you are.
