FULL DESCRIPTION - Gibson Les Paul Traditional Model in Awesome 'Iced Tea' Burst Finish. Gibson Les Paul Standard 'Traditional' model from 2012. A beautiful pre-owned guitar, with rare one-piece Mahogany back and Iced-Tea finish. Gibson's from this era are highly regarded: pre-chambering, high-grade materials and build quality. The wood used for the Mahogany back and neck are beautiful and the Maple top has very nice subtle figuring in a rare Iced-Tea Burst finish (see pics). Note that the fretboard is Rosewood. Overall condition is good considering her age. The rear of the body is clean with the exception of some small impressions / swirls in the lacquer (and a mark on the pick-guard) - very difficult to pick out in the pics. Note that there will also be some other age/play related marks in the finish and also tarnishing to the nickel hardwear etc but all of this confirms she is in superb pre-owned condition. The tone is exactly as you would expect, a resonant guitar with heaps of sustain. Pickups are Gibson 57 Classics (Classic in the neck position and Classic Plus in the bridge position)and provide the perfect big fat rich Les Paul tone. Note that the new 2017 Les Paul Standard range now cost up to £3,299, and include features such as 'zero nut', 'coil splitting' 'G-Force Tuners', and a 'locking bridge'... and there are no 'Tobacco' burst models!!! Put it this way, I doubt you will see Slash ever playing one. So here's your chance to own this all original Traditional manufactured during a great period in Gibson's history. She has stunning looks, classic specifications, a rare Iced Tea Burst finish, and as the pictures show, she is in overall good condition - a classic instrument and great investment. Included in the sale is - black Gibson hardcase, the case is in fair condition and fully functional. Also included is some original case candy, including the original Gibson factory inspection card to certify serial number etc. See images below.
