Made in 1986, this Fender Japan has amazing body resonance and heaps of character!The body is a solid piece of Basswood with no string holes - this model came from the factory with a top-loader bridge but was upgraded with original Fender Bigsby tremolo system and a tune-o-matic bridge with roller saddles.The humbucker in the neck position is the first Japanese reissue of a Fender Wide Range humbucker with embossed Fender logo on the nickel cover and exposed magnets, so unlike a modern Mexican Wide Range reissue this can be coil tapped.So you can have a single-coil sound via a small toggle-switch on the control plate.Stunning guitar with heaps of mojo.
