Up for sale is a 2006 Gibson Historic 1960 Les Paul Special single cutaway in cherry finish. It is in player's condition with good action and excellent frets but has some dings and bruises.The guitar weighs 7 pounds 15 ounces and sounds great clean and dirty. One main ding on the back of the neck through the finish and another ding towards the heel, the others are just are standard for a 10 year old guitar. There is some cherry nitro bleed through on the neck binding as well. Note: I hardly feel the main ding on the back of the neck, as it is too close to the nut to impact anything other than a few cowboy chords.Neck is beefy but not huge. All in all a fantastic player LP special. Now that Gibson only makes these in $4K special runs, these are hard to find at a decent price. If you want an all original Custom shop Gibson to gig and/or use instead of hanging on a wall, this is your guitar.
