There are a couple of light cloudy areas in the finish. Unless you are holding the guitar with the light at an angle you cannot see them. If the guitar were any color than black they would not even show, but as you know black shows everything. Because they are so minor the refurbisher elected not to disturb the factory finish and just left them alone. I included a picture pointing to one of the areas so that you can see it does not show. Comes with an Epiphone hard shell case!
