Ralph Novak designed this guitar after several years of collaboration with the famous blues, jazz and folk guitarist Charlie Hunter. This guitar has two separate sets of pickups allowing the guitarist to play guitar and bass parts simultaneously via two separate input jacks. The fanned fret system enables impeccable intonation and a wide range of notes available to the guitarist. Ralph Novak has also created guitars for John Mayer. Comes with hard case.Anyone can learn to play this style of guitar! The tuning for the guitar is as low as EADADGBE up to a minor third above standard tuning (GCFCFBbDG). The scale length varies from approximately 29" to 25". The tuning is common to your standard guitar and bass, so by applying the same right hand finger picking technique you might use for classical guitar but using it for funk, blues, jazz or folk you can learn to play this guitar easily and have massive amounts of fun as the chord forms and scale shapes remain relatively unchanged. I have provided a youtube review for this guitar with a demo and recommend listening to the audio with headphones or with your computer/laptop connected to a good sound system.After years of of creating and developing the playing style for this kind of guitar, Charlie Hunter has laid the ground work for a new era of guitar playing.
